My grandparents were married for 71 years and their love story was one that romantic movies are made of. The downside is I didn’t have many photographs as a keepsake when they passed away and I don’t want my couple’s future generations to not have anything to see the legacy left behind.
I believe that wedding photography isn’t about someone showing up to take photographs on your wedding day. Wedding photography is becoming friends with the couple, learning what is important to them, what makes them unique as a couple, and showcasing their love story through timeless imagery. This is done by building a relationship through the wedding planning process and then on the wedding day becoming just a part of the family.

Start off by chatting online and then taking that to meet in person. This could mean a date at a favorite coffee shop, appetizers at a fun restaurant, or even a Skype date because we aren’t in the same state! Connecting face to face is the first step in the journey.

The day that you’ve been planning and dreaming of is finally here. The day you marry the love of your life and start your legacy together. This day will be a blur so I’ll be there encouraging you to breathe, to take a minute to take it all in, to truly enjoy this day! One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is the vow reading as I’ll be behind my camera with tears of joy streaming down my face.
